The information on this page relates to the 2009 Word Out! teen summer reading program, and is no longer up to date or being maintained.
You can participate in Word Out! 2009 from anywhere in the city (or outside it) with a connection to the Internet, but many Toronto Public Library branches are also officially participating this year.
At participating branches you can:
- Collect Word Out! bookmarks, each with the code to access the TOP SECRET AREA
- Participate in special events around teen summer reading (ask at the branch) and you could win cool prizes
- Read down your library fines by signing in with library staff (who are also happy to recommend more summer reads for you)
- Browse the teen area for Word Out! featured books and other teen materials. You can also place holds on items from home or from any branch, as usual
