Toronto Reference Library's Digital Design Studio is offering a three-day workshop in August, Digital Design Studio Basics for Teens.  This three day workshop introduces you to the latest in graphic design using Photoshop and web design using Dreamweaver.

Spaced Out @ The Merril Collection

In conjunction with the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, the Merril Collection is presenting several space-themed events next weekend (Friday July 17 and Saturday July 18).  These programs will be of interest to adults and teens with an interest in space, astronomy and/or science fiction.

Writer's Workshop & Live Music @ Richview

For those of you who like to write as well as read, or like live music, or both!

Richview branch is having a workshop this Saturday (July 11th) with author/musician/playwright/film-maker Dave Bidini and the Bidini Band.  The discussion will touch on fiction, non-fiction, sports writing, journalism, travel writing and music writing, and will feature a live band performance.
