I think you should make one at Riverdale libray because it like in the centre and alot of people can come because Barabra Frum library is very far from me so i can't come :( i would love to come though :D

@Jess: The Barbara Frum wrap party is organized by Barbara Frum staff as part of their branch-level participation in Word Out. It's not quite the same thing as our BATTLE OF THE BOOKS launch event, which was a centrally-organized program involving staff from a number of different branches (and staff like yours truly who work in departments providing central services and support to the entire system).

I would personally love to see a big closing event for Word Out at a central location, but I know from the BATTLE OF THE BOOKS how much work they are to organize. Something to consider for next year, maybe.

I would love to come, for the chance of winning prizes! And though its a semi-sad occasion(wordOut's ending, therefore Summer's ending, boohoo) I'll remember that it'll be there next yr too(I think). I should emphasize that I think anyone who feels like going to Barbara Frum is probably more than welcome. They won't be checking ID at the door to make sure Barbara Frum is your closest branch or anything. :)

Yup. It's too far for me... That's why I really appreciate that Word Out is online. I think it's pretty good that there is a teen reading club. I hadn't heard of it happening, though if you went to the secret password site, it seems as if there's been a teen reading club for a long time.
