This sounds really interesting. I would like to ask though, is there any payment or sign-up fee for this workshop?

WOW this is so cooool!!!!

but, i'm gonna be 14 this september... guess that doesn't count, huh?

:'(

does ur computer need to have photoshop to join this workshop?
coz, i don't... but, i'm still interested...

Sarah: Unless otherwise stated, all library programs are free. This one's free. :)

Tasfia: Your computer doesn't need Photoshop to join (the workshop is held in one of TRL's learning centres, which have all the necessary software). As for the age requirement, you'd have to call the branch and ask.

Tasfia: I've been in contact with the workshop organizers and they are OK with 12-13 as well. So go ahead and give them a call if you're interested. :)

Thanks for letting me know its free. I will give them a call today!

Oo...digital design! So cool! I'd love to learn more about it.

Thank u!!! :)

oh wow! TPL is getting better and better, day by day. All the cool workshops!

I soooo want to go to it, but it's not near my area, so i cant go!!!!!!! =( can you try to find a location that is near mine, if so

Hey Jenny Chau, I checked RAMP for the youth programs available this summer, and it seems it is only offered at the Toronto Reference Library. This may be because as Alan H. mentioned earlier, there is a special center for computers with the programs at that branch. But I do hope the workshop will extend to other branches in the future!

Is there going to be a music production program
this summer?

Wayne: Check the events listing at http://programs.torontopubliclibrary.ca/listings/ramp/libraryprograms/current.html - I know Malvern is doing an urban music workshop in August, not sure about other locations.

I love graphic design! Are they going to hold any other workshops like this?

upgrade my skills in photoshop. cause PS was like magic. lookin' forwards to it. :P

i gave them a call on july 17, and, they said that they're ful!!!!!!!! :'(

what should i do????

how can it be full??? it just started, and, they said that it has been hoing on since a long time... :'(

Wow Tasfia, its already full? I called on July 16th and they told me there were quite a few spots left since I told the lady on the phone that my friend might call next week. =(

Dang, I'm going to be out of Toronto then... I really wanted to go.

Aww..unfortunately it's a bit too far. It it was at North York Central, I could have registered for sure! Teens living in downtown must be really lucky. Anyways, I hope there's going to be similar programs later on at the branch closer to me. That would be great.

I just found out that there is going to be a teen trivia challenge for teens at North York Central. I'm looking forward to it.

Oh, is there a sign up fee for Digital Design Basics?

There is no sign up fee. As for the class being full, they do have a limited amount of space available and it is possible they filled quickly after I posted the announcement!

awww man i wish sumthyn like this happened at burrows hall or malvern library...its hard to get a ride and i can't walk tht far :(

awww its at North York Central. Unfortunately a bit too far:(

Devi: even though the Digital Design workshop is full , there are other great programs all around the city for teens. Check out : Participating branches for info on a branch close enough for you!
