Whoever said poetry is hard and boring? If you think it is, think again.
Nina Katchadourian, an artist, makes poetry look so fun and easy. She uses the words and titles from the spines of books to form a sentence and tell a story. Check out her poems here. I tried creating one and now will never look at the spine of a book the same way again.
So let's have some fun! Use book titles to create your own poem. Be as creative, funny, thought-provoking, inspirational, sad, or sweet as you want. Find some cool book titles. Line them up and take a photo. Send us a picture of your poem in comments below. Submit by 11:59 pm on Tues. Aug. 26, 2014 and you will get a chance to win a prize. A prize package will go out to the poem that draws the most attention.
I challenge you to use as many titles as you can find on the Word Out booklist.
