Elise Levine

You are invited to join us on Monday, May 8 at 7 pm, in Beeton Hall at Toronto Reference Library, for Elise Levine: Blue Field. Elise Levine is the critically acclaimed author of the short story collection Driving Men Mad, published in 1995, as well as the novel Requests and Dedications, published in 2003. She is appearing as part of the spring 2017 eh List Author Series, Toronto Public Library’s celebration of writers from across Canada. She will be introducing us to her latest work, Blue Field, followed by an interview with Steven Beattie, Review Editor for Quill and Quire.

Levine’s work has also appeared in The Journey Prize Anthology, Best Canadian Stories and National Post, among others.

Originally from Toronto, Levine has taught in the Creative Writing Program and the Department of Literature at American University in Washington, DC, and is currently the Director of the MA in Writing program at Johns Hopkins University. She lives in Baltimore, MD.
