Two speakers from Toronto Public Health will discuss initiatives to protect us from extreme weather conditions.

Sudha Sabanadesan, MSc., CPHI (C) works in the Healthy Public Policy Directorate at Toronto Public Health as a policy and research specialist focusing on integrating health and health equity into community design and land-use planning. She has extensive experience in environmental health program delivery, research and public policy development through her work as a public health practitioner in Ontario with the federal and municipal governments. 
 
Stephaniephoto

Stephanie Gower, PhD, conducts research and policy development with the Healthy Public Policy Directorate at Toronto Public Health. She holds a PhD in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo where she focused on health impacts of airborne pollutants. Her current work focuses on the health impacts of air pollution and climate change, and on issues related to active transportation and the built environment.
