The Romeo and Juliet movie version I watched was made in 2013. The setting was in Verona, because in the play written by Shakespeare, he decided Verona would be the perfect place for this story. Some of the actors chosen in this stellar movie were, Douglas Booth as Romeo Montague, Hailee Steinfeld as Juliet Capulet, Ed Westwick as Tybalt and Paul Giamatti as Friar Laurence. I thought the movie was beautifully put together. In my opinion, the costumes fit the Elizabethan era perfectly! The acting was tremendously believable. I also appreciated how the director stayed true to the original plot; he did not add too many of his own ideas.
