Fangirl coverThe book that I want to review today is Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I've heard great things about this book and wanted to try it out! I mean, as a fellow fangirl, it's kind of my duty.

Fangirl is a story about Cather "Cath" Avery a teenager who is a huge Simon Snow fan. Simon Snow is a fictional character from a book series written by Gemma T. Leslie. From Simon Snow pencils to Simon Snow bedspreads, Cath has got it all! Her and her twin sister Wren have shared this passion since they were little. It was something that brought them together and made them who they are. Until now, that is. Recently Wren's been drifting apart and wants to "meet other people." Cath isn't so sure though. The only "other people" she's met are online and fellow Simon Snow fans. Now that Cath and Wren are heading off to college, Cath is all on her own. Her sister is living the dream college life: friends, frat parties, good grades, and fun. Whilst Cath is stuck with a roommate that isn't ever there and her (the roommate's) pesky boyfriend who always smiles. Fangirl has a way of making you feel as if you're in Cath's world and mind, feeling everything she's feeling. You'll go from happy to sad, laughing to mad and many more other emotions! Throughout all this, you'll stick with Cath through everything and won't be able to put the book down! Fangirl brings back all your memories of when you were a die-hard fan and you'll love all the funny moments between Cath and "other people!"

I give Fangirl 5 stars and recommend that if you love stories full of love, laughs, and worlds turning upside down, Fangirl is the book for you!
