Throwback Thursday: War In Posters
Next Tuesday is Remembrance Day, when we take a pause to reflect on wars past and the great losses that they have meant for all involved. The sacrifices are well-remembered, and the posters of the time, intended to boost morale and get people involved on a personal and emotional level, are an interesting and sometimes beautiful visual reminder of the many ways people had to commit to and support Canada's involvement in war, particularly in World War II, which went on for many years.
