I loved loved looovveed March Break while I was in school.  The week off normally signalled the final stage of the school year, the beginning of rugby season and it reminded me that summer is just around the corner.

If you have decided to stay in Toronto for the break, here are some of the programs that we are offering for you guys. Just a reminder that these workshops are always free, but you all knew that already, I'm sure.

If you are interested in attending one of the programs below, please click on the branch name for more information.
Belly Dancing
A lot of my friends have gotten into belly dancing. I love how this style of dance celebrates everyone's body and is a really hard core work out.
Fri Mar 16, 2012 - Forest Hill
Silk Screening Workshop
Rob Matejka is doing two of these amazing slk screening workshops during the March Break.  Silk screening has been around for centuries and it's a fairly easy technique to learn.  You get to walk away with your art in hand.
Wed Mar 14, 2012 - Lillian H. Smith
Thurs Mar 15, 2012 - Flemingdon Park
Introduction to Second City Improvisation
For those of us who remember Whose Line is it Anyway? or who love being on stage -  this workshop is for you.  Someone from Second City Improvisation Club will be at the Bloor/Gladstone Branch teaching you the basic of improv and theatre.

FYI - Here are some people that have come up through the various Second City Comedy troupes - Mike Meyers, Stephen Colbert, Andrea Martin, and Tina Fey.
Mon Mar 12, 2012 - Bloor/Gladstone Branch
These programs are just a tiny, tiny, tiny sample of the amazing programs we have going on throughout the week.
