Online Programs Help Guide
You can experience free high-quality programs from home with TPL’s Live & Online programs.
How do I access online programs?
Explore and discover upcoming Live & Online programs at tpl.ca/programs. Sort by your interests and find new ones along the way. Search our categories, series and program groups to discover upcoming events. Each listing will have information and a link directing you when and where to watch.
The library's main broadcasting platforms are Crowdcast and Jitsi. You can also find our programming streaming on our social media channels, including YouTube. These platforms have been chosen with privacy, security and ease-of-use in mind.
Do I need a library card to access Live & Online programs?
No, you don’t need a library card to access Live & Online programs. Programs are free to everyone, whether you have a library card or not. Some programs will share information about linked TPL collections, digital services, educational opportunities and other services for any Torontonian with a TPL card.
If you don't have a library card, you can still access our OverDrive collection of ebooks and eaudiobooks with a temporary digital card!
Toronto Public Library is committed to accessibility and we strive to make our programs as accessible as possible for everyone. Please call or email us if you have a request for accommodation. Let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to meet your request. Phone 416-393-7099 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
