We're celebrating Museum Month with the City of Toronto! On Walk-Up Weekdays in May, your library card gives you free admission Tuesdays through Thursdays to the City-owned and operated Toronto History Museums. These beautiful heritage spaces share Toronto's stories and tell our city’s history.

The City of Toronto also celebrates Museum Month this May with walks, selfie tours, Victoria Days activities and Doors Open Toronto.

Discover how Torontonians lived in the past at Toronto History Museums! 

• Colborne Lodge in High Park
  Explore 19th-century innovation, city building, science, and technology exemplified by Toronto's first architect.
• Fort York National Historic Site
  A 43-acre archaeological site, home to Canada's largest collection of original War of 1812 buildings and an award-winning visitor centre with exhibits and interactive experiences.
• Gibson House Museum
  This 1851 Georgian-style farmhouse was the home of Toronto's first land surveyor who helped map early Toronto.
• Mackenzie House
  The last home of Toronto's first Mayor interprets urban Victorian life of the 1860s.
• Market Gallery

Once Museum Month has passed, you can still visit the Toronto History Museums for FREE by borrowing a Museum + Arts Pass (MAP). Sign out a MAP Pass with your adult library card, and you and your family can get free admission to many Toronto museums and other cultural attractions.
