Creative Spaces Outside the Core
On November 2, Artscape is hosting a free networking fair at the Toronto Centre for the Arts (5040 Yonge Street). If you are involved in creative or cultural work, then you should check this out.
This fair is a great way to learn about creative spaces in the city, especially those outside the downtown core. With 100 branches, Toronto Public Library has all kinds of spaces: theatres, auditoriums, meeting rooms, galleries and even practice rooms. Fourteen arts and cultural organizations have come together to host this event and there will be more than 50 exhibitors there to talk about their work, their spaces and more.
Look for the Toronto Public Library information table. There will be a team of library staff on hand to answer your questions about space availability, cultural engagement with local communities, programming, digital innovation hubs, partnerships, rentals, exhibits and more. To register and learn more, visit: CreativeSpacesTO.ca. See who else will be there by following on Twitter: #cspx15.
Maybe you will be animating one of these great spaces in the near future!
