Book a Human Book: Human Library October 20
Be part of this year's Human Library! This year, in honour of Small Business Month, the library is featuring a half dozen entrepreneurs as human books in our third annual Human Library, on Saturday, Oct. 20, Noon to 5 pm at North York Central and Toronto Reference libraries.
Meet Diana Olsen, the dragon slaying entrepreneur who started Balzac's Coffee Roasters; find out from Chris Hanz if ethical oil is a contradiction in terms, or a viable reality; talk to 17-year-old entrepreneur Nicholas Montgomery, who is the "Tech Expert" for the Marilyn Denis Show; sit down for a one-on-one with the library's first ever Entrepreneur in Residence, Miriam Tuerk.
Other human books include police officers, culture watchers, Canadian Armed Forces personel, and other fascinating individuals. Check out our full list of books and learn how to borrow a human book. We are now accepting holds as well.
Or just drop in to one of our two locations on October 20 between 12 noon and 5 p.m. and step into somebody else's shoes for the afternoon.
