Free Science Events in Toronto for December 2019

The Business, Science & Technology Department of North York Central Library compiles a monthly calendar of free science and applied science events in Toronto. Applied science includes health, gardening, pets and food - all subjects found in the department's collection. Here is the December calendar (PDF).

December's highlights include:

Dec. 3. Climates and Systems in Crisis. The speaker, Ali Hashemi, an early contributor to Extinction Rebellion in Toronto, is the CEO of CSTS Health Care, a biotechnology company.

Dec. 11. Hey Alexa - ask Manulife to tell me a story. Eugene Andruszczenko, Lead Engineer at Manulife LOFT (Lab of Forward Thinking), will share his journey on building for voice in enterprise.

Dec. 26. Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Meet-Up. ​​​A facilitated meet-up for young adults under 40 with any type of cancer.
