Your custom home
Do you dream about your forever home - a home so perfectly suited to your needs that you'll never move again? Lots of people do. But finding the perfect home in the perfect location can be a pretty daunting task. No wonder many people decide to build their dream homes.
Custom building allows you to incorporate features that meet your current and future needs and reflect your values:
- homes with granny flats or in-law suites for multi-generational families
- homes designed to accommodate family members with accessibility needs
- homes designed to help seniors age in place
- homes built to LEED or other environmental standards
On Thursday March 26 the North York Central Library is presenting a workshop on Custom Home Building. Real estate professional Ed Frezza, who built his first custom home in 2014, will demystify the home building process. He will speak about topics including design, securing permits, costing the project and hiring a general contractor and trades. This informal presentation based on Frezza's own project will outline the steps involved in the custom build process.
Whether you're thinking of building your dream home or looking at building a house as an investment opportunity, in this workshop you'll learn more about the custom home building process.
Location: Room 1, North York Central Library, 5120 Yonge Street
Date: Thursday March 26
Time: 7:00 pm
