Fall2 Fall1   Farmers' market

Autumn, the best season of them all. No bugs, not too cold and not too hot, fewer people out and about, good sleeping, crisp air, the bountiful harvest and beautiful colour everywhere!  What better time of the year could there be for a weekend road trip?  So, grab a map (yes, a paper map – not your GPS), your sense of adventure and pack a picnic or, hit a farmers' market. Take this road trip on foot, with your bicycle in a car or hop on a train. Whether you want to get in some mountain biking, some good hiking on the escarpment, eat some candy apples and cotton candy or stock up on produce for seasonal preserving South western Ontario offers endless opportunities at this time of the year. Below are some excellent planning tools to help create your own mini adventure.
