As you probably know, the novel coronavirus: COVID-19 is circulating around the world right now.  You may be wondering what measures TPL is taking in response to the coronavirus.

We know that we need to balance public service with public safety. We are following the advice of Toronto Public Health (TPH) and actively monitoring the situation.

TPH advises that, for the time being, the risk of exposure to individuals in Toronto remains low. They advise following standard prevention measures, including washing your hands regularly, avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands, and avoiding close contact with sick people.

For the present, library programs are continuing as planned. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and make adjustments if and when it changes. Any changes to library service will be posted on
