So, you have an exhibition coming up? That’s great! Have you given some thought on where you are going to exhibit it? Not yet? Well, you are invited to submit your work for the next Art Exhibits season, which runs from September 2019 - August 2020.

The deadline for submission is April 26, 2019.

Toronto Public Library provides space for art exhibits at 16 locations across the city with the objective to provide access to a wide range of expressions of imagination, knowledge, creativity, and intellectual activity and thought, all in a welcoming and supportive environment. It provides space for art exhibits which reflect the diverse cultural interests of Toronto and its neighbourhoods.

Each year, artists are invited to submit their work for possible exhibition. For a fee of $20 + HST artists receive a one-month showing in one of the exhibit locations.

The deadline for submission is April 26, 2019.

Ready to apply? Follow the steps below:

1. Read the following information about Art Exhibits in the library:

2. Review the list of locations. Make sure you select branches with dimensions suitable for your exhibits and locations that meet your transportation needs.

3. Complete and return the Art Exhibits Application Form (PDF).

The Art Selection Committee considers works in all media, including photography, but not sculptures.  Preference will be given to exhibitors who live or work in the City of Toronto. Artists selected to exhibit will be notified by June 21, 2019.
