Make Some Noise & City Hall Live: TRP.P and Beny Esguerra
TRP.P and Beny Esguerra will play a free, all ages show at 2 pm on June 15th at the Oakwood Village Library & Arts Centre. The show is free, for all ages with no tickets required. The concert is presented with City Hall Live , a music showcase and event series that features local artists, organizations, venues, and presenters – generously supported by TD Bank Group and in partnership with Music Canada.
TRP.P
TRP.P is a hip hop/R&B duo comprised of Truss (producer, singer/songwriter) and Phoenix Pagliacci (singer/songwriter). They released a self-titled EP in 2017 that is full of infectious melodies and have been captivating audiences with stellar live performances. Their latest track, "Sweet on Ya," shows the slick production and killer hooks that make TRP.P stand out.
Beny Esguerra
Ruben 'Beny' Esguerra is a Columbian-born multi-instrumentalist and lyricist with an ancestral-meets-urban sound. His album A New Tradition Vol. 2: Return of the Kuisi was a 2018 JUNO Awards Nominee for World Music Album of the Year, combining spoken word and hip hop with Latin rhythms and melodies.
