Casper Skulls and Joseph Shabason will play a free, all ages show at North York Central Library on May 25th at 7 pm! No tickets are required for this all-ages event.

Post-punk rockers Casper Skulls will be bringing their dynamic sound for a very special Make Some Noise performance at the North York Central Library. The band released their excellent debut album Mercy Works at the end of 2017, which Exclaim! called "a fantastic album that could launch Casper Skulls to a place in the indie rock stratosphere." The band has recently been touring with PUP and The Wooden Sky, while also recording their sophomore album.

Saxophonist/composer Joseph Shabason has recently been making a name for himself after years of playing for bands like Destroyer, The War on Drugs and DIANA. His most recent record, Anne, was described as "a tonal essay on degenerative illness," mixing his experimental and ambient jazz with interviews of his mother as she struggles with Parkinson's disease. The companion piece to that record, aptly titled Anne, EP, is coming out in May and you can hear the new song "1517" now:
