A grandchild’s disappointment when her Grandma gives her a lemon tree for birthday turns to true delight in this charming picture book. It takes almost a year, but the lemon tree brings beauty, community and, of course, lemonade!
My Forest is Green by Darren Lebeuf. (Ages 3-7).
Explore, observe, create! With art supplies in hand, a city boy does all three in the urban forest beside his apartment building. The result is a beautiful record of the changing seasons in an array of art styles and materials.

Moon Wishes by Guy and Patricia Storms. (Ages 4-7).
The moon is the central character in this calming and beautifully illustrated bedtime story. It wishes hope and safety, peace and love with quiet and lulling language.
Paws + Edward by Espen Dekko. (Ages 4-7).
Keep a tissue handy when you read this story of an old, well loved dog named Paws and his boy owner Edward. Paws + Edward explores loss and death in an accessible and ultimately, uplifting way.
