New and Noteworthy Picture Books - January 2019

We are dedicated to bringing the best and brightest books to our library collections. Here are some picture books we are really excited about that will be hitting shelves soon.
My Mommy Medicine, by Edwidge Danticat. Illustrated by Shannon Wright 2019 Ages 2-6
When you are feeling sick mommy knows how to make it better; with hot chocolate, a bubble bath, and lots of snuggles and cuddles.
Diana Dances by Luciano Lozano, 2019. Ages 3-6.
Diana is bored. She can’t concentrate in school. Until she hears music and can’t sit still. Diana finds out she is a dancer! This book is full of body positivity, inclusiveness and self-acceptance.
Maybe Tomorrow by Charlotte Agell. Illustrated by Ana Ramírez González, 2019. Ages 4-8.
