Andrew Luck, the starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, has launched an online book club. Among his teammates and the media, Andrew is recognized for his passion for reading. He is often referred to as the “NFL’s unofficial librarian”. The mission of the new book club is simple: to share books that Andrew has enjoyed and to build a community of readers of all levels.

Periodically, Andrew will launch a book for “Rookies” (younger readers) and “Veterans” (older readers) and encourage participants to find the book, read it and then post on social media. His first two selections are:

Rookie Book:

Maniac-magee
Maniac Magee, Jerry Spinelli

Veteran Book:

The-boys-in-the-boat

The Boys in the Boat, Daniel James Brown

Want to participate? It’s simple: there is no sign up or log-in. All you need to do is start following the relevant social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), find a copy of the current book (the Toronto Public Library can help with this step), and start reading!
