Manpower recently released the results of their Manpower Employment Outlook Survey which indicated that Canadian employers anticipated certain sectors to experience the strongest job prospects. The Construction sector lead the pack, followed by Manufacturing - Durables, Wholesale & Retail Trade, and Education.

In The Conference Board of Canada's Economic Performance and Trends blog, there was a release of the latest job creation numbers and they're saying pretty well the same things as Manpower: Of the 16 major industries covered by Statistics Canada’s Labour Force Survey, just two have accounted for nearly 45 per cent of job growth since July 2009—the health care and social assistance industry, and the construction industry.

The Federal Government of Canada's Job Bank at last count showed over 900 job vacancies in Construction alone.
