Gift Idea: Create Your Own Book
It's not too late to consider a self-published book as a gift for the holiday season -- and you can do the printing right here at the library with Asquith Press!
Consider these ideas:
- your favourite childhood story
- a collection of family recipes
- those poems you've had tucked away for ages
- that great Canadian novel
- your family history
- a personal memoir
- a custom notebook or diary
Once you have your content completed, then you need to format your book and book cover to work on our machine. Download Asquith Press Book Printing Guide REV Jan 2016 for all the technical specifications.
Asquith Press books are glue-bound paperbacks with full colour covers and black and white interior pages. You can include illustrations and photos in grayscale. And you can print as few or as many books as you like.
Note: Books are usually ready for pick-up in five to ten business days after we receive your final files.
We are located in the Digital Innovation Hub at the Toronto Reference Library. Contact us at 416-393-7007 or [email protected] for an appointment to review your finished files.
