Adding the library website to the home screen on your phone is a convenient way to get quick access to searching, your account, and other library services and information.

Here's how to do it:

iPhone/iPad

  1. Open the Safari web browser on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Navigate to tpl.ca.
  3. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. (If you don't see the action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap the plus sign next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you'll be able to select it from the Share Sheet.)
  5. Type a name (e.g. "TPL") for the site link. This will be the title that appears below the TPL icon on your Home screen.
  6. Tap Add in the top right corner of the screen.

The TPL website icon will appear in the next available space on your device's Home screen. To move it like you would any other app, press and hold its icon and then tap Edit Home Screen, and you'll be able to drag it to your desired location. When you've placed it where you want it, tap Done.

Android

  1. Open the Chrome web browser on your Android device.
  2. Navigate to tpl.ca.
  3. Tap the Menu icon (the three stacked dots) at the top right of the Chrome window.
  4. Tap Add to Home screen.
  5. Type a name (e.g. "TPL") for the site link. This will be the title that appears below the TPL icon on your Home screen.
  6. Tap Add.

The TPL website icon will appear on your device's Home screen. You can move it around or put it in a folder the same way you would with other apps on your Home screen.
