Have you ever wished you could jet off to Switzerland to attend a music festival in the Alps? Or take a master class in your instrument with a world-famous musician? 

We've got the next best thing. Medici.tv is an online channel offering streaming video of classical music concerts, operas and ballets, both live and on demand. It also features master classes by leading musicians as well as music documentaries. The site is available in English, French, Spanish and Russian. Subtitles are offered for some programs. 

With your valid Toronto Public Library card, you can view over 150 live events every year, broadcast from venues including Carnegie Hall, the Bolshoi Theater, the Opéra National de Paris, and many more. All live streams are also available to replay. To find them, you can go to tpl.ca/medici, or search for "medici" in our online catalogue.
