2016 Scotiabank Giller Prize
The longlist for this year's Scotiabank Giller Prize was announced on September 7. The prize is awarded for the best fiction published in English in the year. Both novels and short story collections are considered for the $100,000 prize.

The finalists will be revealed on September 26 and the winner will be announced at a gala on November 7.
