Calling all newcomers and potential citizens!

1. Are you taking the citizenship test soon?  Are you worried you might not pass?  Come and learn more about Canadian history, government, symbols and geography through conversation and games at your library.

 When? Tuesday and Thursdays, 4:00 - 6:00 pm (7 sessions)

 Dates: Starting August 6th 2013 until August 27 , 2013

There will be  free resources available to help you start your business!

Remember :    Participants must register to attend.

                        Permanent residents must present their Permanent Resident card for                         registration

Go! TD Summer Reading Club at Barbara Frum

Summer is here!  With schools being closed for a few months you might wonder- what do I do with the kids now?! Well, bring them to the Barbara Frum Library!!  The TD Summer Reading Club is a great way to keep your kids entertained, whilst learning and engaging in educational activities. This year’s theme is GO!, and is geared towards children aged 0-12.  Register your child and receive a child friendly magazine and passport.  With each book read over the course of the summer the child will receive a unique sticker unlocking a special part of the website

The Summer Reading Club is designed to keep kids reading throughout the summer months.  Visit us today to pick up a copy of our summer calendar full of fun activities, performers, arts & crafts, storytime and much, much more! You can also check out our programs listed online.
