The Toronto Bead Society's Fall Fair is fast approaching! This year it’s being held on Saturday and Sunday, November 3 & 4, in the Appel Salon on the second floor of the Toronto Reference Library.

As a long-time bead lover, I’m looking forward to seeing what new beads are on offer, and getting ideas for jewelry projects. There will be many bead and jewelry-supply vendors and some great classes, so take a look at the TBS  website for all the information.

Bead jewelry and beadwork have become very popular.  It’s a craft and an art that can be learned and enjoyed by all ages, with a minimum of supplies.

We all remember making macaroni or button necklaces in kindergarten, and some of us remember the love beads we wore in the 60's!

Today it just gets better. With such a colourful variety of beads available, in all shapes, colours and sizes, there’s something for everyone.
