Award winning author Nalo Hopkinson not only makes Toronto her home, but weaves it into the rich tapestries of her stories.
In her latest book The Chaos, main character Scotch finds herself in a city where what seems like reality is stirred into a strange hallucinogenic soup of science fiction and folklore. Volcanoes erupt from lake Ontario, Baba Yaga roams the streets, and a mysterious and menacing creature seems to be stalking her every move.
Meet Nalo and get a chance to peek into her supernatural visions of Toronto, as she shares The Chaos at Parkdale Library on the evening of July 25th! Its sure to be a great night. See you there!
