Two speakers from Toronto Public Health will discuss initiatives to protect us from extreme weather conditions.
Stephanie Gower, PhD, conducts research and policy development with the Healthy Public Policy Directorate at Toronto Public Health. She holds a PhD in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo where she focused on health impacts of airborne pollutants. Her current work focuses on the health impacts of air pollution and climate change, and on issues related to active transportation and the built environment.
