The Friends of the Library - South Chapter are having a giant two day clearance sale at the Beeton Auditorium of the Toronto Reference Library that ends today at 4:00 pm. If you haven't already read it, then you may enjoy Joe Fiorito's interesting article on the sale and the Friends in the Toronto Star.
Prices are very reasonable at 50 cents each or 3 for $1.00 and in some cases even cheaper for paperbacks and magazines!
In addition to the sale today the Friends of the Library - South Chapter have a thriving used bookstore at the Toronto Reference Library. You may want to visit the Book Ends South store while you're here or check out the bookstore another day - they're open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 12-5 and Wednesday & Thursday 12-8. Did you know there is also a Book Ends store at the North York Central Library ?
