Stella Adler @ Toronto Reference Library

Stella Adler on America's master playwrights, an extremely handsome and authoritative book on the great Stella Adler, recently arrived.  It reminded me of my youth when everyone I knew or dated was a starving wannabee actor and their book collections always included works on Uta Hagen, Stanislavski system and Method Acting and sometimes, if they were really serious, books by Stella Adler.

 

It's the beginning of a new school year and we're starting to get Ryerson Theatre Program and George Brown Theatre Program students coming in and I encourage them and others to come and use all our great resources - including our wonderful collection of monologues.
