Doors Open Toronto Illuminating the Citys Great SpacesIn 2000, the City of Toronto launched the first Doors Open event in North America.  Buildings featured in Doors Open are usually not open to the public or would normally charge an entrance fee.

Doors Open Toronto is one of my favourite events in the city. It's amazing how I can walk by a building on a daily basis but not really see it. I love the opportunity to look beyond the concrete jungle; to find out more about the history behind buildings in and around my neighbourhood.

For 2012, Doors Open Toronto (Saturday, May 26 & Sunday, May 27) will focus on 200 Years of Building Our City. Find out more about the people and personalities associated with our city's history. This year's event features 135 architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings.

Listed below are our Sun Life Financial Museum + Arts Pass partners who will be taking part in this year's Doors Open Toronto. Make it a family outing and take the time to go and explore some of our city's architectural gems. All for free!
