Bishop Morocco
Bishop Morocco (2010)
When ex Tangiers and Deadly Snakes axeman Jim Sayce met up with electronic musician Jake Fairey (aka Fairmont), magic was sure to happen. It took the form of Bishop Morocco, one of the best shoegaze Prog Pop bands Toronto's produced in a while.
D-Sisive
Vaudeville (2010)
Toronto MC D-Sisive has been representing the scene for over a decade now, but took a lengthy break after a series of family tragedies forced him to step back from the mic. Thankfully, D-Sisive has returned, and with a vengaence, producing a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 2010's Vaudeville.
Maylee Todd
Choose Your Own Adventure (2010)
After a string of successful collaborations with Toronto bands like Woodhands and Henri Fabrege and the Adorables, Maylee Todd decided it was time to put out an album of her own. So she got together a gang she called Pegwee Power and released one of the catchiest records of 2010.
